| Junior Church - meet in the Community Centre every Sunday at 10am, except on the second Sunday in the month, when we meet in Church. Pebbles is for accompanied children under the age of 6, and Rocks is for the older ones. The readings, activities and prayers follow the same theme as the Service in Church, and then the children, parents and leaders join the congregation in Church at the Sharing of the Peace. | ||
| Worship for Everyone - is held on the second Sunday each month in Church at 10am - an informal Service of Family Worship, which usually lasts for about 45 minutes. | ||
| Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving - a Service held at 6pm on the first Sunday of each month, when we remember and gives thanks for the lives of those who have died during the previous month, and for those whose first anniversary falls at this time. | ||
| Pram Service - meets fortnightly on Wednesday afternoons during school term time, 2pm to 3pm in the Community Centre and is especially for you to come along with the little ones - from birth to school age. A short service with singing, a story and prayer and a time for play and fellowship. | ||
| Doves Youth Group - meets in Church on Wednesday evenings 6pm to 7pm and is for Junior School age children. Meetings include songs, prayers, and a range of differing activities. | ||
| FRED: (Fun Real Excited Disciples -of Jesus!) -
is a cell group for young people aged 11+ who want to have fun and share their
lives with other Christians their own age, get to know Jesus better and live
out their faith everyday. We do a mixture of things...from praying to bowling,
from doing crafts to watching Busted (!), visiting the elderly, handing out
chocolates in Tesco and camping in the summer...Anyone is welcome to come and
bring their friends- whether you go to church or not! At present the leaders of FRED are Gig Thomas, Laura Welch, Michael Hart and Katie Windle. Cell youth leaders are Rhiannon Simpson and Charlotte Handley. Please email Katie if you would like to come along... |

| Church@Home - is a young adults group that meets weekly at different people's homes for friendship, chilled out discussions, prayer, bible study and worship. We also have socials in the pub and have been known to go to Lazer quest...If you are a young adult you are most welcome to join us. Please email Katie so she can tell you where it is and what we're doing this week. | ||
| The Mothers' Union meet on the third Thursday of each month at 2.30pm at the Community Centre. There is usually a speaker at each meeting, then time for a cup of tea and a talk. In July there is an outing and coffee mornings are held in Church on at least two Saturdays during the year. Corporate Communion is held on the last Tuesday each month in Church at 10am. | ||
| Study Groups are held each week. Confirmation classes, 'Saints Alive' and other short courses are organised at various times during the year. | ||
| Stewards - Church is generally open each weekday from 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 4pm and on Saturday from 10am to 12 noon. Anyone is welcome to come in - light a candle in the Lady Chapel if you wish, talk to the stewards, have a quiet time or just look around. | ||
| Coffee Shop is open each Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 8pm and welcomes visitors for refreshments and a chat. | ||
| Healing Ministry - in the Lady Chapel during and after communion at the 10am Family Eucharist and the 6pm sung Eucharist on the second Sunday of each month. Any situation, no matter how big or small, can be offered to God for his blessing; and any part of your life that does not seem to be right can be prayed over for God's healing touch. | ||
| Bellringers - The bells are rung for the 10am and 6pm Services on Sundays and there is a practice evening each Friday from 7.30pm. Handbells are usually played at Christmastime. Click on to our 'More Information' link to read more about the bells and the Church clock. | ||
| Eco Congregation - promoting awareness of God's creation. Two examples of this in practice are the provision of a green box in Church for the recycling of used paper, and the development of a Wildlife Garden in the Churchyard | ||
| Church Office is open each Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 7.30pm in Church, for enquiries regarding weddings and baptisms. Just call in, no appointment is necessary. | ||
| Summer Garden Party and Christmas Bazaar - These events are held each year when members of the various Groups have stalls and provide refreshments. | ||
