| April 28th 2002 | The Hucknall Team Ministry will be remembered in the cycle of prayer on Tuesday 14th May at Southwell Minster. We are invited to send details of things for them to pray for and there is a particular welcome to Evensong at 5.45pm on the day. If a group of people go they will try to arrange a cup of tea after the Service. It can also be arranged for someone to read a lesson. Rob Finch, David Hosking, Matthew Kane, David Saxon. The first meeting of the Church Council will take place in Church on Tuesday 7th May 2002. | ||
| April 28th 2002 | A preliminary meeting to begin the process of the appointment of a Team Rector will be held with the Archdeacon of Newark, the Ven Nigel Peyton on Monday 13th May at 7.30 pm in Church. Also present will be Revd Tony Evans. the Area Dean and Richard Walker from Newstead Deanery Synod. Those invited to this meeting are: all the Team Clergy, all of the members of the St Mary Magdalene Church Council; and the Parochial Church. Council representatives from St Johns and St Peter and St Pauls. | ||
| April 28th 2002 | Mrs Maureen Crisp, Secretary of the International Byron Society has heard from Rosa Florou in Messolonghi to tell us that the Mayor of Messolonghi has talked about Fr Fred at the Council Meeting. A Service booklet from the Eucharist of Thanksgiving has been placed in the town Byron Library. | ||
